Environmental topics and subjects are included in almost all study programmes and subjects in the field of agricultural higher education in the broad sense. However, because of the necessity of teaching broad introductory courses and of combining all methods and techniques of management of the environment, there is almost no study programme devoted to this field only. 

 In order to cope with this topic, however, most faculties of agriculture are offering specialisation or special post graduate courses. The specialisations are given in the section of agricultural studies at universities (section 2.2.2.). All agricultural faculties may be asked for their special programmes with respect to studies in environmental sciences.
