Coordinator Work package 9. Dr. Hiroko Takagi will be responsible for organizing the two training workshops planned during the third year of the project in collaboration with the project partners whose laboratories will be selected for hosting these courses. Mr. Lorenzo Maggioni will assist in this organization by selecting the most relevant candidates within the European plant genetic resources programmes. Selection of participants will be made based on the CV of applicants, their current job and on the relevance of the course to their home institutes. The country of origin of participants will also be taken into account in the selection process, in order to achieve, to the extent possible, an even European geographical coverage. Dr. Florent Engelmann will provide scientific and technical assistance in the implementation of the training courses.
